Five ways to revise IB Business Management that actually work
The Powskill team
Re-reading the textbook feels productive, but it is one of the weakest ways to revise. Here are five habits that move your grade.
1. Practice by command term
Define, explain, calculate, discuss and evaluate are marked very differently. Drill them separately so you know what each one expects before you see it in an exam.
2. Time yourself
A 10-mark answer is not an essay. Match the length and depth of your answer to the marks available, and practice hitting that under the clock.
3. Show your working
In calculations, the method earns marks even when the final number is wrong. Always set out each step.
4. Use real case studies
Apply every point to the business in front of you. Generic answers stay in the lower bands.
5. Review what you got wrong
Your weakest topics and question types are where the easy marks are. Sort by what you missed and practice that first.
