Powskill ("we", "us", "our") is an online study platform designed for International Baccalaureate (IB) students. By creating an account or using our service at powskill.com, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Powskill. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the service.
Powskill offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.
If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. Refund requests should be sent to support@powskill.com. Refunds are not available after the 7-day window or for renewal charges. We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse.
Lightning credits, coins, and other in-app currencies are virtual items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts. We reserve the right to modify credit balances, earning rates, and costs at any time.
You agree not to: use the platform to cheat on official IB assessments; share account credentials with others; upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content; attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the service; use automated tools to scrape content or abuse the platform.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at our discretion.
Powskill uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate lessons, study plans, grading feedback, and tutoring responses. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs, and they should not be treated as a substitute for official IB resources or teacher guidance.
All content on Powskill, including lessons, UI design, code, and branding, is owned by Powskill. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use our content without written permission. Content you submit (reflections, CAS projects, study notes) remains yours, but you grant us a license to store and display it within the platform.
Powskill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any academic outcomes, data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Powskill after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
